Reports said that three militants appeared at the funeral of Lashker-e-Toiba militant Ashiq Hussain Bhat in Rakh Kapran village and simultaneously fired shots in the air to offer gun salute to their colleague.
Bhat’s body was spotted in an orchard in Saidpora village, barely twelve kilometers from last night’s shootout site in which another militant and four youths were killed in Pahnoo village. Reports said army pressed helicopters into service to keep surveillance over the slain militant’s funeral.
